Usage
Entering grades
You can enter grades using the grade entry screen, which can be accessed via the main menu, a register or from your homepage. Follow the link for more information about entering grades.
There is an alternative view for grade entry, called form based entry. This is only available via the PARS main menu.
Reviewing and reporting on grades
If you wish to a review a single pupil's grades, you can use grade preview. This shows only one pupil's grades at a time.
There are a number of grade reports available in PARS, which you can use to view grading data at your school.
You can also create custom grading reports which allow you to choose exactly what data you want to see. You can also include personal details, such as SEN, EAl or Pupil premium.

The grade authorisation feature allows you to view multiple pupils' grades at once, and send messages to staff if you are not satisfied with the grades they have entered.

If you have configured key indicators (see configuration, below) then you can access a grading analysis suite from your homepage. This training guide gives an overview of the features that are available.
Printing and uploading reports for parents
The review periods page is used to generate reports, usually to send home to parents. These reports will need to be designed for you (our programmers will do this free of charge) and then imported into PARS via the review designer (see configuration, below).

Grade elements are the equivalent of Aspects in SIMS Assessment manager. Go to the configure grading elements page for instructions and more information.
Managing the comment bank
You can configure a comment bank so that staff can select from pre-defined comments when entering grades. Comments can include mail merge fields for a personal touch.
Creating templates for grading analysis
If you wish to do a grade analysis through PARS Connect, then you will need to configure key indicators once your elements have been create (see above).
