Notices

Insight is used for communicating with parents. Information about the pupil, such as behaviour and attendance can be shown, but Insight can also be used to send messages to parents.

The notice page will show a list of the messages that have been sent via Insight. Insight will automatically generate some messages that are sent to parents, such as reminders to provide reasons for their children's absence, or calendar events such as half-term breaks.

Staff can send their own messages too. These messages can have attachments (such as school newsletters) as well as being sent by SMS or email if required. (For SMS you will need to have an account with Text Anywhere - https://www.textanywhere.net/)

The Notices page is divided into pages, with one month appearing on each page. Parents can click the arrows at the top left and right of the page to view notices from previous or future months.

It is also possible to have a Notices section appear on the Snapshot. This allows parents to quickly view any new notices while they are looking at an overview of the information about their child.
