User-defined pages

User-defined pages allow you to create your own content for parents. The following different types of page are available:

• RSS reader page

This will read and display the most recent items from another webpage, such as BBC News.

• Document page

This allows you to display a fixed document, such as Word or PDF, for parents to view and download.

• Linked documents page

Documents can be picked up from SIMS, and then displayed via this page.

• Web page

Other webpages can be embedded into Insight, such as your payment system for school dinners.

Parents will be able to save or download documents if you are displaying them. User-defined pages will need to be configured before they can be displayed to parents.
