I can see a message about the Automation module not running

You should check that the automation module is installed and running. To do this, follow the instructions on our troubleshooting automation page.

On the status tab, it says automation has never polled

You need to install the keep alive service, see our installing Keep Alive page for instructions.

There is an update available for the KeepAlive service

When running the Service Controller, if your version of Keep Alive says something like "5.622 - 5.630 update available" then you need to upgrade the Keep Alive service.

To do this, click "Stop" at the bottom right of the window, then click "Uninstall". Once done, click "Install", then "Start".
