Report cards support your school’s behaviour improvement plans by allowing staff to mark pupils placed “on report” on a lesson-by-lesson basis against targets set at the time. Although Talaxy’s Report Cards can be set up and completed as a stand-alone package, there is some value in the intrinsic links to Registers, Seating Plans and Conduct. Report cards can be so personalised that each student has their own set of targets, or as standardised as setting up a Head Teacher’s Report system.

So much is available that you may not want all staff to see everything – don’t worry, you can set permissions to allow and disallow access.

• Attendance today is shown in a simple pleasant info-graphic, and the current year’s session and lesson registers are summarised, analysed and detailed. If you use numerical lesson attendance codes an insight into per-subject attendance is available

• A full record of behaviour incidents, praiseworthy achievements and certificates awarded is presented along with any related subjects

• A student’s gradebook and any comments are shown, clearly broken into subjects

• A timetable, including any detentions and clubs is available, so that a student can be quickly found if required

• Each contact is listed, showing the relationship, parental responsibility, court order status and each telephone number and email address in priority order

• Siblings, both in school and leavers are listed and each can be opened in a new window

• A complete home-school communication record is listed out, with any details and attachments available at the touch of a button
