End of term is fast approaching and TASC have had another very eventful and successful year.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our schools for their loyalty in using and recommending our software and we would also like to welcome all of our new schools and academies who have joined us in the last few months.
Thanks also to the MAT’s and Managed Services who are offering our products as a solution to managing pupil data and parental access, plus our partners including; Capita SIMS, 4Matrix, iSams and Nationwide Retail Systems.
Welcome to our new team members
We would like to introduce you to our new members of staff who will be working with the TASC team full-time.
In such a short time, both have become a very important part of our team and we wish them all the best in their future here at TASC Software.
Bianca Coppola joins our team managing INSIGHT demonstrations, trials and assisting with some support.
Manjinder (Manny) Singh now product manages CURA introducing the software to schools, LAs and MATs.
The PARS Connect Challenge
Managing pupil data is important yet often an expensive school necessity.
With more schools looking to cut costs, PARS Connect offers more ways for you to save money, by managing data in one simple solution. As well as being more cost effective, PARS Connect eliminates the need of creating more time consuming work for staff having to log into various other software thus streamlines processes more effectively.

TASC Launches new INSIGHT 7 with more features
Real-time Parental Access
Released in March 2007, INSIGHT began its life as an attendance and behaviour log for parents. BECTA funded by DfE were given the role of introducing the necessity of parental engagement and online reporting in schools. (2010 Secondary / 2012 Primary). In 2008, with the addition of SEN and personal data plus 2 factor authentication logins, INSIGHT ticked all the boxes on BECTAs list and we could introduce INSIGHT as a parental engagement portal. Over the years, INSIGHT grew to a feature rich portal, not only for parents; for pupils and teachers too.
Today we have hundreds of schools and tens of thousands of users actively using INSIGHT.
TASC Software do not standstill though! We have listened to your feedback and thoughts, discussed good practices with our schools and parents, taken into consideration future needs of schools, set our programmers to work and hey presto… welcome to INSIGHT 7.
How do you effectively track vulnerable children in school?
Recording incidents and actions for our vulnerable children
There can be no issue of greater importance to parents and carers, or to schools, than the safety of their children; safeguarding remains high on Ofsted’s agenda and will continue to do so. The purpose of this good practice report is to identify the features of exceptionally good safeguarding.
CURA promotes consistent safeguarding practise across each school, enables sharing of accurate and real-time information securely and effectively. CURA removes the problem of trying to find papers in draws and looking back manually through logs of data. Staff can log niggles or issues quickly with designated staff notified immediately based on levels of clearance. This improves the speed with which schools can respond to safeguarding matters and enables teachers to be proactive in taking account of safeguarding when planning their lessons as well as extra-curricular activities. Senior managers put into place protocols and procedures to protect confidentiality and restrict access to data where appropriate.
