There has been a fundamental shift over the last few years in the general software industry. Driven by the explosion of Internet-enabled devices, software applications need to be able to function on a far wider range of devices and operating systems than ever before.
In response to these industry trends we have developed PARS Connect; a software solution which remains relevant to current technology and includes new innovative features.
PARS Connect is a replacement for the PARS.net client. Built on the ASP.NET framework, PARS Connect functions on internet-enabled devices, allows access from home and supports new features that were not possible in PARS.net. By using a web interfaces we have been able to add new and exciting features including homework tracking, assessment analysis and seating plans with a new attendance analysis feature coming soon.
Most existing customers now use PARS Connect and PARS.net has not been sold to new customers for some time. Development work on PARS.net ceased around 12 months ago and, to enable us to support schools fully, support for PARS.net will cease from July 2017. The PARS.net wiki will be removed at the same time.
All future renewal invoices will only include PARS Connect. If you are using PARS.net you will already have PARS Connect installed. During the next twelve months staff must transition to using PARS Connect instead of PARS.net if they are not already. Onsite and remote training is available to assist with the move to PARS Connect.
