Session marks can be recorded in separate tutor period in the morning and afternoon, they can also be recorded during a mapped lesson period. Session registers are displayed in PARS with a red register symbol.

The time when the AM session stops and the PM session starts is called the "AM/PM cutoff time" and should be set to ensure that mapped lesson marks are written to the correct session.

If you want to alter the time when session registers take place, the Registration times section of the Registration preferences menu is where you can do this.
