Reporting

PARS contains various reports which allow you to view and analyse data in different ways. Reports are separated into different sections such as attendance, behaviour, grading, etc. You can click on any of the links below to see screenshots of all of the reports that are available in each section. Each link that you can click is coloured and emboldened like this (you can't click on this one).

General reports

This a list of generic reports found in PARS. Most of these reports can be run over a custom date range for any selection of pupils and/or groups.

Extra reports

You can create custom reports in PARS, which will show only the data you need. Custom grading reports will show data about grades for pupils and groups, and can include personal fields such as SEN status or Pupil Premium.

Custom behaviour reports are very versatile as you can also use them to analyse attendance, detentions, on report or removals, in addition to showing pupils' behaviour and personal details.

A grading analysis can be performed on any groups that are linked to you - classes you teach, years groups that you are responsible for, or form groups that you tutor. You will first need to have Key indicators created.

The Attendance overview feature allows you to view attendance data for the entire school. The pupils with the lowest attendance will be highlighted, as well as a form tutor group breakdown.

A heat map of the school can be generated showing the hotspots for behaviour based on the locations within the school. This can be for any kind of behaviour.

Reports for parents

We will design free reports that can be sent home to parents for any school that have PARS. In order for us to design these reports, we will need you to follow the instructions on the review designer page.

Go to the customised reports page for examples of reports we have produced for other schools.

Once your report has been designed, it can be imported into PARS via the review designer page.

The report can then be generated for printing, or uploaded to SIMS, via the review periods page.

Frequently asked questions

This is a list of frequently asked questions relating to attendance. For the answers to any of these questions, please go to the reporting FAQ.
