To improve performance PARS caches much of the data that it needs from SIMS. Depending on the type of data, these caches will refresh anywhere between once per minute to once per day. 

The cache viewer page is used to see the caches of data that PARS is storing. In some cases it would be undesirable to have to wait until the cache expires before an updated set of information is drawn from SIMS. The cache viewer page can be used to delete the caches created by PARS so that they are refreshed the next time their data is required.
