User-defined pages can be added here which users can access from their account (if their role permits). Once a page is added then you will need to add it to the required roles.

Adding user defined pages

Click on the "Add" button to add a new user defined The types of pages which can be added are:

  • RSS reader page - this provides feeds from websites and blogs. In the location field, enter the URL to the RSS feed.
  • Document page - this allows files saved on the web server to be viewed by the users. In the location field, input the file location and name. If changes are made to the document then the next time the user opens that document they will see the changes so there is no need to upload the file again. Alternatively you can browse your computer or network for a file and upload this to the web server using the "Browse" button.
  • Web page - by adding the website address in the location field the user can view that website when clicking on this page link. The website will be displayed within Insight. in the location field, enter the URL to the page.


Editing user defined pages

An existing user defined page can be edited by selecting a notice and clicking on the "Edit" button.

Deleting user defined pages

A user defined page can be deleted by clicking on the "Delete" button.
